 Is O24 available in an odorless/unscented version?   2006-02-05 04:02:09   O24's distinct "aroma" primarily comes from peppermint and eucalyptus oils. Most people find these aromas pleasantly soothing and beneficial to the sinuses. These oils are commonly used in aromatherapy as well. A small percentage of people find these aromas overwhelmingly strong and even offensive. Unfortunately, removing these oils would change the O24 formula, so there is currently no plan to develop a new product without peppermint and eucalyptus.

For people who are sensitive to these aromas, we recommend that you simply use the product in a well ventilated area. Once absorbed into the skin, the aroma dissipates relatively quickly.  What is the difference between O24 and O24 Fibromyalgia   2006-02-05 03:24:04   When O24 Pain Neutralizer was first introduced, it was not yet realized that it would be tremendously beneficial to fibromyalgia sufferers. After a clinical study performed on fibromyalgia patients showed a dramatic reduction in pain when using O24 Pain Neutralizer, Swiss Medica received the first-ever National Fibromyalgia Association Seal of Approval Award. The O24 packaging currently reads:

"Uses: Temporarily relieves minor aches and pains of muscles and joints associated with simple backache, arthritis, strains, bruises and sprains."

Swiss Medica wanted to add "Fibromyalgia" to the list of ailments. Unfortunately, the FDA prohibits the use of the words "arthritis" and "fibromyalgia" on the same package containing camphor as an active ingredient.

This left no other option but to create a new package for Fibromyalgia use alone. As an added benefit, Swiss Medica was allowed to place the NFA Seal of Approval on the new "O24 Fibromyalgia" package design. 		  O24 Pain Neutralizer and O24 Fibromyalgia are actually the same formula with different names.
